yes but only if you use it to set up the same set of queries about facebook that gener used in his studies i,e you should not assume that facebook etc will have the same effect as the tv

ps galtung and ruge posed a much more interesting set of questions about the infleunce of media Their work migh be of use to you in your media stuides
