How do I seperate my Yahoo account from my facebook account?

When you sign in using your Facebook or Google login you are provided with limited access. Products like Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! Pulse will not work until you upgrade to a full Yahoo! Account.

To upgrade your account:
After verifying your Google/Facebook username and password, you will be asked to select a new Yahoo! ID and Password.

Visit the Yahoo! Mail site, and sign in using your Google/Facebook ID.
On the next page, you will be asked to verify your account. You will need to provide your username and password a second time.
Once you have selected a new ID and Password, click Upgrade My Account.

Note: After upgrading your account, you will be able to log in to Yahoo! using either your Google/Facebook login information, or your new Yahoo! ID. However, when signing in with your Google ID, you will still need to click the Sign in with: Google button. Additionally, you will need to use the username and password obtained during the upgrade process when logging in from a mobile device.
