facebook account hacked?

recently my friend's facebook account was hacked and his password was changed,he got the email regarding this password change n a verification link but the link was expired as he checked his mail after few days of receiving this email,so then he took help from facebook help centre and tried other ways like the way which involves three trusted friends but in vain,the hacker changed the primary email .now i can not see him in my friend list ,neither i can search him by his email id or by name on facebook......another way he tried to recover hs account was to answer the security question but the question were also changed by the hacker........so now is there any way to recover his facebook account after having done all this.....

P.S. we have the IP address of the hacker, he is likely to be one of his class mates,so can we find him by his IP address ,if yes then plz tell how?
