if you have beef with your wife on twitter should it stay there or carry into real life?

she was out of town for last weekend with a few of her friends and they had nice weather and suppossedly she saw a bumblebee so she hash-tagged that in a tweet and then I called her out saying she had to be lying and even if not "winter is a (hash-tag) bumblebee-basher" and that started like a back-and-forth that got pretty nasty she told me she knew taht i was insensitive but lately it was seemed like i was slipping into "douche-demon mode" and then one of my boys (who had dated her previosuly to us getting married) jumped in and i never replied cause it got really nasty and his twitter account got delleted actually. so sshe came home ttwo days ago and hasnt mentioned it and has actaully been pretty nice to me but i still kind of expect an apologgy but i dont want to bring it up if it could redo some nasties, what's the best way to handle it do you think?
