Experience is the most important thing in Australia. With the experience you gained from this position, you perhaps can find a much better paid job easily. If the boss can give you a fabulous reference letter, I think it is worth all the hard work you are doing. I personally don't care the pay if I believe I can get a much better job because what I am currently doing.

If you want to talk to the boss, I think you should have some figures to support you. The no. of fans may be not enough. I am not sure if the company actually can track sales from facebook. If yes, you should get this number. If you can demo that you grow the fans from 200 to 1200 and the sales generated from facebook increased from X to Y (Y should be at least 6 times of X), then you care in a much better position to talk about pays.
