Facebook is a social networking site which enables you to connect with your friends or just anyone you want to be connected to. Users can talk to friends on the topics they are interested in. Using Facebook for long distance connection, people no longer uses phones for long-distance calls which have high costs, or mails which would take a longer time. I understand that people can use e-mails or long distance chats but they are a little private. Some people prefer to let their conversations be known so they become more approachable. People can connect even at long distances with more people any other devices could allow. Nothing connects more than 100 people other than Facebook.... or Twitter. A page can share an interesting new information for millions to know about instantly, such as pages of CNN, BBC and other news pages.
I can see from your question "what happen to the good old days?" that you are reminiscing old times when Facebook didn't exist. Well, I don't see Facebook as a bad thing. If you do think so, honestly it's your problem. |
