how do you erase a facebook profile?

So if you are wanting to permanently delete it you just go to the help center in the bottom right of your Facebook and today deleting your account was 8th search in the top searches box. So you click that and it will bring you to a paragraph that says, I want to permanently delete my account. How do I delete my account? And the bottom of that paragraph is a link that says, "by clicking here" so just click on the "here" link and then press submit. If you want it only temporarily erased with you able to bring it back you can just deactivate it in the settings.
