Does everyone make a big deal out of whether or not they're Facebook friends with someone?

My co-workers made a big deal about it. I deleted my facebook for a year and when I reactivated it, I added most of my co-workers except for maybe a couple, including one I didn't like too much. We were talking about it one night at work and long story short, she realized she was the only one I wasn't facebook friends with and I had to add her that night, so she would feel better.
Some people get offended if you're not facebook friends. Some people will delete you if you annoy them. It's really childish and passive-aggressive: You don't talk to me, so I don't wanna see your face online anymore. Facebook is just annoying in my opinion. It shouldn't affect your friendships or personal life as much as it does. |
