A lot of people do.
And it is understandable. Ignoring and excluding people is just a dumb and douche bag thing to do in a social situation. Whether it is facebook or a party, If you include some and exclude others you are making a very clear statement that you do not like these people. It's fine to not like a co-worker but of course you keep this to yourself. Making them know you don't like them by not adding them to facebook is just an arrogant and douche bag thing to do and it jeopardizes the workplace for everyone. The same goes for classmates, family and friends. just know that the ones who exclude some people from facebook are usually the ones that consider facebook to be more important than it really is. If you don't really think facebook is that important you also have no problem adding people on it that you don't like. So, be social. Don't cause problems in social situations like school or your workplace for you and others and don't see facebook as a really important thing and add everyone you know personally. |
