I was talking to my female friend on Facebook who we havent spoken in months. On her profile it says shes in a relationship, so i just asked "oh u have a boyfriend now?" and she said ya, so then i just said "oh cool make sure he treats u good cuz ur cool lool " and she was like "aha thanks " and i said no problem. Then she quickly writes "anyhooooooooo.................." and we talked about other stuff..

Was what I said awkward or normal? We are kinda close but just friends.
