Getting visitors to the site is typically a greater challenge than creating the site, it typically take money to make money, you may have to resort to paid advertising, though it is very tricky to make profitable for moderate price products.

You may end up spending more time on other sites raising awareness and creating backlinks than you do working on your own site, certainly you want ot create accounts on multiple social sites like Facebook and Pinterest, you can create a Facebook page dedicated to your store and actually log on under the store page name so any comments or posts you make on other pages or groups link back to your store page.
On social sites like Facebook you might have to post 10 cute baby pictures or write an informative advice post for every one commercial message. You can use Facebook paid ads to get people to your store site or the store fan page, some run a sweepstake that requires a facebook like to enter, because of the high click rates of giveaway offers the ad cost can go way down.
