umm...I'm not really good at this, but you good try "I feel unloved today" or "I feel neglected" or something along the lines - keeping it simple will probably get her attention faster than something poetic and lengthy.

EDIT: Yeah, I was thinking about it and I think you should say something very short - I don't know how to put it in words, but a simple sentence like "This has been a crappy month/day/year" or "I really like crap" or "I just feel so unloved now" will definitly get her attention quicker than something else (it doesn't sound so "cheesy")
