Does Facebook suggest friends based on who has stalked you on facebook?

Ehhhhhhh kinda sorta not exactly.

First off it depends on what you mean by "stalking." If by that you mean that a person merely searched your name, then yes that does get factored in to the friend suggestions. But to me it's not truly "stalking" unless they obsessively try to find out information about me that I didn't make public. But that's just me.

And like I pointed out above, people who searched your name is a *factor* that goes into the friend suggestions, but it's not the only factor. The system also looks at who is on the friends list of your current friends, who lists their school or workplace the same as yours, who frequents the same places you do, etc etc etc.

It's a complicated equation with a lot of variables. Just because someone shows up on the suggestion list doesn't automatically mean they're stalking you or even looking for you.
