How should I approach my daughter about her Facebook account?

Ok say u ground her but don't be too harsh I'm telling u diz because my brother &dad were so over protective which made things worse because I did things behind their bak &ended up in bigger trouble ..maybe u should just have an agreement of course after da grounded punishment or lying &decide 2have the whole family as fb friends so at the same time u can monitor her a bit &she will limit herself as well since she knows u will b watching just don't post crazy stuff on hers it will embarass her..she is young but now a days media grows on kids at a much younger age &its just da in or cool thing 2have ..my little sibling is in 6th grade &has our family as friends &everything is fine with trust ..we joke around &at the end of the day no secrets lies or disappointments....at this age is when parents should start communicating in a mannerly way with their kids ..that's the age that I felt I needed a bit more freedom &privileges though my parents always kept me on lock down I started 2rebel have accounts behind their back have relationships I snuck out because they wouldn't let me go out I never told dem about boys because they made a huge deal about it &kept me on lock down even more...privileges are good not alot though ..a good relationship with kids is the most important thing to have ..now that my parents &i sat down &talked not yelled or talked over each other I can tell them everything and anything they are like my only best friends ..I'm 17 & pregnant now..high school dropout &recovered from self Injury depression after being hospitalized 3times...not having communication with my parents &always being punished had alot 2do with it not all but some...now that we put everything behind us and talked rationally they are the only ones I trust and talk too..hope I helped
