I'm vegan and don't know if I would mind or not if someone checked out my facebook (that is what it's there for after all) but would definitely like it if I was asked if I had any food preferences before going on a date and would also totally love if the guy was open minded enough to eat a vegan meal just to make me happy. Vegans may say they don't mind if people eat meat around them, and they usually don't to an extent, but any vegan who is in it for animal rights still feels a bit uncomfortable having to watch someone eat meat right in front of them.
