It is ABET-accredited, so all bias aside, you should be fine going there.

That being said, I would say it's a 4th tier school overall, which is right there at the bottom. I normally advise people not to get overly wound up over college rankings and prestige, however, you should try and avoid the schools at the very bottom as these places often have many problems. Lastly, the list of companies attending their career fair is pretty mediocre. None of those companies stand out as being noteworthy to me, except for maybe DuPont.

Quite frankly, it sounds like an incredibly depressing school to attend. No offense to anyone who went there.

Just some brief stats on CSU (not to be confused with California State University):
---------------

ACT Composite: 18/24
ACT Math: 17/24

Most Popular Majors:
Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, English, Finance, Health Science, Marketing, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Urban Studies

Transfer, Retention and Graduation Rates:
First Year Student Retention (full-time students): 66%
Transfer Out Rate: 41%
4-Year Graduation Rate: 9%
6-Year Graduation Rate: 30%

Data Source:
National Center for Educational Statistics

---------------

Two things I noticed right away:

1. Horrid graduation rates. I don't think I've seen a school with anything lower... and
2. Engineering is not a popular major there (this can affect which classes are offered to you, as well as a multitude of other things)
