Some of the first things you need to do is create profiles on some of the more popular social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. I also recommend signing up for tools that make it easy to manage your profile. Next you will have to create content people will be interested in or they will have no interest in you. To increase followers and likes, start with your own personal network and see if you can make it grow from there.
