It isn't very serious, we went out on one date on Valentines Day. We go to school together. She dates a lot, so I know she'll find someone else like that, but she is also my friend and I don't want to be a bitch :/

Does this sound right?


Me: I don't think we should go on anymore dates
Probably what she'll say: What, why?
Me: I don't think I should try to maintain a relationship during my freshman year. A lot of my schooling includes me picking between sleep, social, and homework. I'm not up for hanging out all the time with people, so I can't offer you the attention you deserve.

I don't know how the rest of the conversation will play out, but I'll go with the flow. Is this a good way to start the conversation?

We're both girls, and I'm also sick of people treating us like a zoo attraction (everyone keeps going on about 'how cute!!!' and 'omg ur my otp!' and it's really annoying) but I'm not going to tell her that because she'll probably try to argue that I'm full of myself. My facebook is literally crammed full of messages of people trying to talk about us, and we've only been on one date. I just can't deal with relationships, I don't feel like they are right for me. Besides, I've realized I don't feel comfortable dating people from my school.
