Yes you are being too sensitive and overly demanding to try to make your friend stop talking to someone you're mad at. Don't tell her to stop talking to him - that would be way too controlling. You also do not have a right to be mad at her, in my opinion. It would have been better if she'd just stood up to you but it sounds like she tried that and you insisted she ask the organizer rather than your ex, and she has the right to proceed as she wants.

You were out of line for snooping even if her pw was saved.
