It is horrible! I find it really confusing and hard to understand where things are. The only good thing is you get to have a cover photo at the top of your page which is cool.

It won't do anything to your privacy settings.

If you want it just go onto facebook and before logging in there should be an UPGRADE TO TIMELINE link on the facebook page.
