Need help using paypal??

I just recently set up a paypal account online. I have a personal account, not a business account. As I am a firefighter who loves what I do, I'm attached to multiple other groups on Facebook. However, I wish to be able to sell/purchase items within these groups. Mostly everyone I have seen has a paypal account to do such exchanges. Figuring that was the easy way, I set one up. However, here's where I'm lost. How do I know my paypal account numbers or whatever so I can tell the people who are going to buy stuff from me/how do I use it to purchase stuff from them? Any help with the whole set up is very much appreciated!!!
