Don't want to move to Florida?

Artemisc gives you a very reasonable answer. Honest is a flipping moron. None of that stuff is as big a problem as they claim and lying about python meat is only going to annoy your parents. Sink holes happen here, but the big ones like mentioned are few and far between (you've got a better chance being frozen to death in Michigan than swallowed by a sink hole in Florida). The snake problem isn't as bad either, sure in the everglades it's an issue, but I see more gators than snakes period and I've yet to see a large python down here.

Moving sucks, it's never fun and it usually takes time to get use to. You're parents aren't going to like moving away from their friends and comfort any more than you will. If you talk to them about leaving your friends maybe they will compromise and let you come stay with a friends family for a week or two over the summer. With social media distance is nothing on a friendship, most of my friends live all over the country now (being in college) and I still keep in touch.


Unfortunately at 15 you're not going to do anything to change their minds and if they are anything like my parents you'll be grounded once you annoy them begging not to move. If they want to move they get to move and you have to accept that. Until you pay your own bills on your own place you're going to move wherever your parents tell you to. You already said, they are thinking about it, so it's not even a done deal yet. If you end up moving and like Michigan so much get good grades in high school so you can get a scholarship and go to Michigan for college.
