Do you know this boy? Or have you met him on facebook or some other internet site? If you've never met this guy in person, what you are contemplating could be extremely dangerous, as you have no idea if he really is who he says he is until it's too late.

As for your parents... if you want to be treated as mature enough to go do things on your own, you need to be mature enough to be honest with your parents regarding your plans. Trust lost is hard to regain.
