Do you think under different circumstances things would have been different? NO BULLIES.?

I have a wonderful, amazing man that I have been best friends with for the last 7 years. He lives in England and I live in the states. We met for the first time on a dating website. Then we found each other's facebook accounts and continued to talk. We learned about the cultural differences between the uk and America, politics, food, movies, dreams, aspirations, what we would do if we ever met, like take a state wide road trip, ride scary roller coasters, terrorize people we thought looked funny, etc. well I guess somewhere along the lines in the last 7 years, I fell in love with him. He came to visit me in the states 2 years ago and we had an amazing time. We both told each other one day we'd be together, but all of that seems so impossible now. He's engaged to another woman, and I married another man. I just can't help but feel like things would have worked out in our favor under different circumstances. Ps: hubby knows about this. NO BULLIES. I just can't talk about this to anyone.
