Can I hide my Facebook Ads from a certain person?

*If talking about the NOTIFICATIONS BOX, where some users "invite you to try" certain apps, then you can. Just click the "x" at the right of the notification, and then click "deactivate", which is, deactivate further invites from the app (not the user).

*If you are talking about the NEWS FEED, that is, its "sponsored post" / "related post" then no. That's the way Facebook is selling ads today. You can try "unsubscribe" from your contact (go to his/her profile, click in "friends" and then uncheck "show in news feed"), but be aware that you no longer will see in your News Feed status/photos/etc. this contact has uploaded (you will have to go to his/her profile to see them, if any).

Hope it helps (:
