How long does i take to forget your first love?

Note that whenever something happens in life, there is ALWAYS a reason for it.
#1. First of thank life that you had the opportunity to love---that only means that you are open to that possibility and there is even more out there.
#2.It could be that you and your "BF" in the big picture of life (which you cannot see right now) are not a great match for each other.
#3. It could be that the possible "mismatch" of the two of you would end up being disastrous and hurtful in the end (more than this hurts) AND this is life's way of protecting you from future hurt
OR
#4. It could be that life has someone even more wonderful and better for you –so bless and release him/her.
