I'm sorry but it sounds like your relationship is over. I'm sure you'll find someone else who deserves you.

It's sweet that he was remembering the good time you had together and was getting closure. But then that leaves you hanging and confused about is intention. Perhaps you need to find closure as well but in a different way since he's no longer accessible. Good luck.
