It's not too much to ask. He's obviously not that into you, physically. Don't be unfaithful, just break up with him. Don't bother giving him the real reason just tell him you're breaking up and that's it. It's not for him to tell you to calm down - you're not getting what you want, so end it and find someone who appreciates you.
