Wow, I never had a boyfriend until I was 22 (6 years older than you are now), and I did not lose my virginity until I was 21 to the guy who became my boyfriend but we were just FWBs up until that point. Believe it or not, I have gotten even good-looking guys that tell me that I'm very attractive since I was about 12, so it wasn't my looks that were the issue, it was that it wasn't a focus for me and I let my parents hold me back. Even when I was 21 through 22, they still were trying to keep me from socializing, let alone have a boyfriend. Ridiculous, right?
