How can I increase B2B opportunities?
I work for a small closet and storage organization company in NYC. I want to increase revenue and my attempts of advertising to people last year were mostly a flop. This year, I want to put together a B2B campaign to work with architects, interior designers, realtors and most importantly, housing development companies (and perhaps others if there are others too?). How can I reach out to these companies without seeming like some random telemarketer making cold calls? Because that didn't work either!
I think a source of where new buildings are going up in NYC (Manhattan, really) long before construction begins is the ideal time for me to get in on the planning phase, rather than after construction has started. For example, I'd love to get in on Hudson Yards, an up and coming residential neighborhood that just broke ground. It's probably too late, but if I knew about it a year or 2 ago, I might have had a chance?!! Unfortunately, our direct mailer didn't do anything for us. I mean, NOTHING!! Several hundred post cards, and not one phone call. We were reaching new home owners in ZIP codes of our choice sold to us by Angie's List. A few months and a few hundred dollars later, we still haven't seen that campaign get us one single reply. Same with our radio ad. As far as faxing, I am skeptical to believe it would be any different than the rest. Where would I get a list of faxes to send this form to? Ads |
