Mary,
Water damage is always something to worry about when it comes to laptops or any electronic device for that matter. You're very lucky that the machine has continued to boot after being placed on a radiator after the liquid damage. I would recommend getting the machine tested for defective parts and back up as much important data as possible. Liquid damage and possible heat damage might cause future issues or complete failure of the laptop.
