The first thing to do would be to talk with your counselor about doing this, what are your options and depending on your choice - would those credits transfer back. Regardless of you completing the courses and getting credit, it is ultimately up to your public school on whether or not they transfer them in for your requirements. So, always get the "ok" first before you sign up for the summer school credits. I am a teacher for an online high school, CompuHigh/Whitmore School. We offer open enrollment year round for both our individual courses and our diploma programs, so a student can start at any time with us.
http://www.compuhigh.com/individualcourses.htm I am providing the link to our accreditation page as well, and you are more than welcome to look through our site to learn more about our program, and gain a better understanding of what things you may look for in your quest. There is also a contact link on our website should you find you have any questions. http://www.compuhigh.com/accreditation.htm We have open enroll year-round so you do not have to until the summer to get started.
