HELP. I've had the same phone since 8th grade...?

WAAAAAAAAH! I'm 16 and i desperately want a new phone!!!! Today I tried to get a Iphone 4 and me and my dad went to best buy to get it since its only 50$ there! But then the prices started to add up for insurance and the data plan for all the internet? And my dad doesnt want to pay all that :/ So now im stuck here looking for a new phone on AT&T's website and idk wtf i should get!!!
And another thing is i really wanted an Instagram..and im guessing you can only get one if you have a smartphone? Im sooooooooo lost. Can someone please suggest a phone from AT&T that i can get an instagram on, download my music from itunes, and has a good camera?
And lmfao at Brent. You don't know me or anything about my life. I am well aware of people not even knowing what a damn cell phone is. How tf does that apply to me? Gtfo with that crap, why did you even take time out of your day to put something so incredibly retarded and pointless.
