He honestly was probably just thinking that you should not have been on social media while intoxicated. Give him a couple of days and then just message him like nothing was wrong; just be like "Hey, what's up" or something really casual. He may have thought that you were slightly "out of control" drunk even if you were not because you cannot get the full extent over a fb message. If he replies and you tell he is acting sort of strange, simply apologize for messaging him and let him know that you didn't mean to come off in the wrong way.
