The great part is you don't need to handle those logistics. The negative is, ebay takes their share at every step of the way. But they reach people.

As far as what to display, show other works you have sold and clearly state, even in ALL CAPS or bold, that those images are for display purposes only. There are other people online who sell custom work and buyers aren't stupid. They want to see your style, then move to the next place. Say the size, price and lead time. If a customer can see your style and learn the particulars, you will get more sales.

You should also consider listing on Etsy. Once again, setting up and selling on Etsy is very easy. Once you have that store set up, make sure to pin your examples to Pinterest. Many of your buyers might be on Pinterest looking for someone like you.
