The design is good, nice blend. I wen to your gallery and i guess you can add effects to your photos which is static. And i don't know if its my browser problem but your site loading time is slow perhaps because of the full background... any way you can check some tricks for effects at http://www.myweeblytricks.com that can help you make few differences.
