What I can do with Laptop [for education/ knowledge purpose]?

As well as those, I use mine for:
Photo editing, storage, cataloguing and viewing.
Budgeting, planning, tracking of financial commitments (Excel).
Planning holidays and what to see / where to go (Bing travel and web searches and OneNote for collation).
Weather tracking and analysis (apps and web sites).
Planning my next car purchase (Excel, OneNote, web sites, reviews, videos).
Tracking children's use of the Internet.
E-Mail - I get around 700 to 800 messages a day across the 4 different email systems I use, which are self-organised into: Work, sailing, financial and home / family.
Social Media: Yammer, Facebook and 6 or 7 different forums (like this one).
Communicating - IM, Presence, Audio and video using Skype and Lync.

Basically - ANYTHING your imagination can stretch to!
