If I buy a wordpress theme from themeforest will it still have wordpress ads?

If you are using -

1) Wordpress.com: You can not use themeforst themes there. Here you get a blog hosted at wordpress.com's server just like blogger.com. You can not use your own theme here. Hence no themeforest theme can be used at Wordpress.com. Since wordpress.com gives you their theme for free, they put their ads to the theme.

2) Wordpress.org: In this case you have to buy your own server space and domain name.You can buy a theme from themeforest.com and use in your website. You are the whole and sole owner of the website here.

So, the answer to your question is - because you are paying themeforest.com for the theme, they will NOT run their ads in your theme/ website.
