I don't need to know what you look like to know that you'll be just fine!
You may occasionally get stares, but most of those will be out of curiosity.

I'm 5"0 and very overweight, but managed to find a top that fitted me just fine in a resale shop! I don't remember being singled out specifically because of my shape or size, tbh

Whatever the standards for beauty wherever you are, there's no accounting for taste.

I'm sorry about people not believing it was you in the photos, and am glad you've gor some other brilliant answers.

Now get out to Japan AND HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS YOU CAN! Ganbatte ne!
