I am not sure why myself, however I work for a cell phone company and feel like we have seen this issue more frequently. Unfortunately most third party apps are written by someone other than your carrier, so they probably won't be much help other than basic troubleshooting. (Like removing the app & readding it.) I just searched the issue because I am having an issue on my Galaxy Tab & have already done the basic trouble shooting. The person next to me is having the issue with her I-pad. UghSad Too connected to the app I guess.
