Youtube gaming advice?

Here are a few essentials:

- El Gato game recorder

- Good microphone to record commentary

- A brand identity (logo, colors, etc. Shout to me, Jeff.graw@yahoo.com, and I can give you some designers I've worked with.)

- A good intro and memorable quote (something you say at the beginning or end of every video.)

- A format. In other words, a recipe for your videos so that you are consistent and keep your following.

As far as equipment, on a Mac you have iMovie or a great upgrade to Final Cut. If you are on PC try out Adobe Premier. After Effects helps as well.

Keep social networks to a minimum and provide good content to only a select few at first. Quality over quantity wins every time.
