there's nothing crazy about it .. you don't have to physically be infront of someone to feel a connection, especially with all the social media everyone uses. if you want to start dating him ask him what he thinks about that .. he probably has the same feelings as you do and is just as scared to ask. it may be hard because you guys can't see each other often but plenty of people do it. just be careful because he is a stranger to you and as much as you think you know him he could very well be lying about stuff. or maybe not. always go with your gut and not your heart and if something seems off, it usually is. good luck to you.
