If someone messaged me like that I would think it's totally creepy. Wait until classes start in the fall. If she doesn't live near you, what's the point of messaging her now, anyway? You couldn't date her until you're at the same school.

Just wait. This is too much and would put her off. And, yes, she would have a good laugh at you with her friends even if she is going to be a freshman.
