how to MANUALLY hook up an Ipod to wifi. As in with the ip address and the router number. PLEASE!!?

(the picture isnt mines)okay so i have no idea what the wifi password is to our home network and i already found out THE IP ADDRESS along with everything else that i need to fill out the little columns but after that im suck..what do i do after that because their isnt a submit button on the top and it takes me back to the wifi options showing me that the network is still locked. is there a step im s missing because i cant find the answer anywhere not even on Apple which sucks.

on my Kindle there is the option of just putting in ip address the router and so on and so forth and connecting it. Trust me i had my doubts too but i put it in and it worked, the Wifi icon is on the top of my Kindle and i can go to the Kindle Shop just fine..thats why i was so confused when it came to my iPod and why it didn't work for it.
