How do you know that you are pretty? Low self esteem help? (:?

I have pretty low self esteem and am very insecure.. This causes me to sometimes think "why would he like a girl like me" when I have a crush on a guy...
How do I know if I'm at least cute or attractive? I've never had a boyfriend in my life and most people in REAL LIFE call me cute or adorable or innocent-looking or sweet. I have pretty fat cheeks too and people say i remind them of a bunny or kitty lol. People also say I have soft skin and soft hair. But then online (on my Facebook profile pics or Instagram selfies) I get "awww" or "gorgeous" or "pretty" with the heart emojis. I've never gotten hot or beautiful.. I mean I guess I get compliments but I always feel like people are just saying that.

Other than all that I can sometimes be conceited too. I sometimes feel really pretty when I look in the mirror but I've heard you see yourself 40% Better looking than you are. I feel pretty sometimes but i don't believe I'm pretty. So many that I know I can't compete with.

I know that it's inner beauty that counts. But outer beauty does affect one's life too. You can say its not important all you want but if it can make girls feel so insecure and make their self confidence low then it is something that affects human life, even though to be honest it's not worth spending your time thinking about. In the end we'll all be bones and dust anyway.

As for my body I guess I'm a little below average. But I'm not super skinny.
