What's next for internet access?

Sadly, I think the companies are going to milk users as long as they can. I used to live out in Arkansas and the AT&T 5GB/month that we had (3G) was like 50 bucks a month, shared over 4 people. And if you went over, no Internet for the rest of the month. Since they were cheap bastards, they wouldn't run DSL half a mile from the highway.

In terms of Internet speeds, America (Inventor of the Internet) is ranked 34th. San Antonio, Texas has about twice as many people as the capital of Latvia, yet its average speed is 1/4 for which they pay 2x as much. Get on it, America! We're tired of buffering our porn (Game of Thrones)!
