Can my laptop be too weak for internet browsing?

As you are aware your laptop is not the greatest spec but should be OK to browse the web and watch YouTube clips.

What can you do?

1 Remove Firefox, Opera and Chrome leaving just IE. Update to the latest version of IE compatible with the OS.

2 Go through all the software and uninstall what you do not need, especially toolbars.

3 Remove any 'special effects', keep it simple and set for 'performance'

4 Use a lightweight anti-virus, Microsoft Security Essentials is good. Get rid of all other AV programs.

5 Use Adobe Flash Removal Tool to completley remove all traces of Flash. Reboot the computer then re-install Flash from Adobe website.
