I messed up my internet connection by changing ip address?

Try logical progression.

1. If one of your computers is connecting to the Internet then the Internet service and the Modem is functioning correctly.

2. If it were only one of your pieces of equipment not connecting. Then it could be that equipment at fault. However, since all other equipment connected by WiFi aren’t working, it’s logical to conclude that the Router is at fault.

3. The simplest method to correct most Router problems is to reset to factory default and reconfigure.

4. To reset to factory default on most equipment. Locate a small hole in the rear of the equipment generally marked as Reset. Insert a small item, such as a paper clip and hold down for approx 10 seconds. After reset, reconfigure as before. Be sure to do your setup while hard wired to it.

5. If you’re trying to surf anonymously you can use proxies. Or you could use a TOR Browser and let it do it for you.
