This looks to be the sort of interest where there would be many blogs and forums for those interested in vehicles. You could approach blog owners and ask about using banner ads on their sites. (Once you have decent traffic you could probably monetize the site by offering ad space.)

Most of the pros have long since left SEO/free traffic behind and are using paid traffic. But as this might be something of a specialist niche you might be able to unearth some good keywords and optimize for them. But paid traffic is the quickest, and most reliable, consistent, and scalable method out there.
