It is illegal for a teacher to access and read a students Facebook account without explicit permisson from the Student, their parent, the School District, and Facebook Inc. If all parties do not agree then the Teacher can be charged for invading the students privacy and the students account may even be taken down.

If your teacher did this to you then tell your parents, and report it to both the police and the school district so your teacher can face the correct punishments. Remember though, that you did give her your phone which technillay means you gave her access to your Facebook, which is against their Terms and Conditions and may result in an account suspension (although I highly doubt this will happen given your case).
